I began on this path aged 19, picking up a yoga text looking for answers having just surfaced from a long period of depression.
Having seen people close to me going through their own inner torment I set out on a life mission; to understand the human experience. The most powerful driving force being, to understand happiness and what causes us as humans to suffer.
When we approach this conversation from only one direction either science or spirituality, there are so many peices of the puzzle that are missing.
We are living in a biological vessel with primal driving forces, we think via a complex pattern recognition system (the mind) and we have a driving force beyond our human form that when we slow down we can feel that call.
A call to be of service, a call to help beyond ourselves, a call to live a life of meaning, purpose and impact.
Yet we can only truly walk the path of that calling when we get out of survival mode and know what it is on a physical level to thrive and to give from a limitless source.
Too many people are drained when giving as they lack boundaries, give from need or are constantly seeking external validation.
To truly be of service to others starts with you. With learning what it is to internally validate, to know who you are and not constantly adapt based on external environment. Being authentic is this; being true to you, being proud of who you are, being in integrity with yourself.
This does not happen overnight. It is a gradual awakening to freedom. For those of you joining the certification, this is the journey you will be embarking on, learning the science, the frameworks and the philosophy of fulfilment, happiness and the opposite; suffering.
So that from a place of lived experience, you can guide others to know and love themselves.
